Good morning NAHS! Today is a day 5 schedule. The order of periods is: 5, 6, Flexblock, 7, 1, 2.
Bus passes are in the main office, please be sure to pick yours up if you do not already have yours. Bus drivers will be checking for your passes beginning tomorrow, September 19th.
Get ready to show your school spirit! Homecoming Week kicks off on Monday, September 22nd. Each day has a fun dress-up theme, so join in and help us celebrate! Monday: Neon Day, Tuesday: Groutfit Day (all gray), Wednesday: Tropical Day, Thursday: Jersey Day, Friday: Class Color Day - Seniors: Senior T-shirt + Black, Red, and White, Juniors: Blue, Sophomores: Green, Freshmen: Yellow.
Attention all students! We will be having a homecoming door decorating competition in your basecamps on Monday. Please start to brainstorm ideas and bring in materials you may want to use to your basecamps for Monday. There will be prizes for the best doors which will be announced at the pep rally on Friday.
HOCO Glow is happening Saturday, September 27, from 7–9 PM! Tickets are $20 and on sale now through Thursday, September 25. Purchase on LINQ or by submitting a check to Ms. Salisbury or Ms. Roy. Pro tip: screenshot your ticket and have it ready at check-in for quick entry! Students must arrive by 7:30 PM and remain at the dance until at least 8:30 PM. Food will be available for purchase during the event. Dress in your brightest neon and get ready to celebrate HOCO Glow!
Exciting news! Student Council has been reworked, so now anyone can join! If you are interested in planning events, sharing ideas, and helping improve our school, this is your chance! Student Council is open to anyone who wants to make a difference, build leadership skills, and have a voice. We are looking for people with ideas, action plans, and the willingness to participate! Don’t miss out on this opportunity and join us on Monday, 9/22, from 2-2:20 in the senior pit! Hope to see you there!
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the Future Teachers Club to engage in molding young minds in setting them on a path of learning while discovering your hidden talent to help others in the process. Being a teacher is a most rewarding profession and inspirational to say the least! So come by Mr. Russo's room, 212, immediately after school on Thursday, Sept. 25 to explore how you can impact someone's life for the better!
Curious about how discoveries are made? Join the NAHS Research Club, where we turn ideas into impact! No experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity, and we’ll explore science, creativity, and problem solving together. There will be a brief informational meeting about the National Art Honor Society today, September 18, 2:00-2:15pm in Room 127. Students who are in grades 10-12 and who have completed their fine arts graduation requirement and share a passion for the visual arts are invited to apply for membership into the National Art Honor Society.
