MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning NAHS. Today we are following a day 4 schedule and the order of periods is 4, 5, flex, 6, 7, 1.


Come celebrate the artistic accomplishments of North Attleborough High School students at this year’s art show.  The Art Show will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 5 to 7 pm in Rooms 126 and 127.  All are welcome!


Come to the annual Freshmen-Sophomore Semi-Formal on Friday, May 3rd in the NAHS Gym from 7:30-9:30! Tickets will be on sale at all lunches for $10 from April 24th to May 1st.


The NAHS Tri-M Music Honors Society is hosting a coffeehouse on Friday, April 26th in the senior pit of our cafeteria! Grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee, your favorite snacks, and enjoy the show! Our theme is Beach/Under the Sea, so show up in your best aquatic attire! Admission is $5, and concessions are donation based- all proceeds are going to a charity relating to our school's PASEA club. Sign up to perform using the link in our instagram bio or on the posters hung throughout the school. We hope to see you there!


Looking for a job? Local employers will be here on Wednesday & Thursday (April 24-25) during lunch block. They will be set up in the senior hallway so be sure to stop by during lunch.  Speak directly with employers who are ready to hire and be sure to fill out a raffle ticket each time you meet with them to win some swag! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Magit. 


There will be an informational meeting for all those interested in Fall Cheer on Tuesday, May 7th- 5 pm in the gym.


The Captain Kyle R. Van De Giesen Memorial Award Committee is looking for applications for the annual award in Kyle’s memory. Captain Kyle R. Van De Giesen, USMC Cobra Pilot was killed in action in Afghanistan during

Operation Enduring Freedom October 26, 2009. He lived every aspect of his life by the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment. Current seniors are eligible to apply for this financial award by completing an application. Completed applications must be received by May 1, 2024. The Captain Kyle R. Van De Giesen Memorial Award is a financial award but not necessarily a scholarship. The recipient does not have to be continuing on to a college or university. The recipient(s) will be chosen by a committee consisting of Kyle’s family and close friends. Applications are

available in the Principal’s Office, or by emailing rememberKRV@yahoo.com .


Weight Room training with Mr. Scibilia is canceled today, Wednesday.


After school clubs meeting today after school are: Galadriel in room 213, 

Athletic Events today are: at 3:45 the Boys Tennis team meets Oliver Ames and the Freshmen Baseball team also meets Oliver Ames. At 4pm the JV & Varsity Softball teams meets Oliver Ames
