Good morning NAHS! Today is a Day 7 Schedule. The order of periods is: 7, 1, flexblock, 2, 3, 4.
Get ready to show your school spirit for next week’s Thanksgiving rally spirit week! Each day has a fun dress-up theme, so make sure to join in and showcase your North spirit! Monday is Thanksgiving Colors day! Wear your best yellow, orange, or brown outfits! Tuesday is Flannels and Sweater Day! And for the rally day on Wednesday, be sure to wear your best North Pride gear!
There will be a meeting for anyone planning on joining the swim team this winter during flex block on Tuesday 11/25. Search Swim in Smartpass to sign up.
Do you love pickleball? If so, The class of 2027 will be hosting a pickleball tournament after school on November 25th at 2:30pm in the gym. Entry is 5 dollars per person or 10 per team to participate, and the winning team gets a prize. We hope to see you there!
The Badminton Club is hosting a badminton tournament today, November 21st after school from 2-3:30pm. For singles it will be $5 per person and for doubles it will be $ 8 per team. There will be a prize for the doubles team winners and singles winner! There will be flyers posted around school with a QR code to sign up for the tournament!
Exciting news! Student Council has been reworked, so now anyone can join! If you are interested in planning events, sharing ideas, and helping improve our school, this is your chance! Student Council is open to anyone who wants to make a difference, build leadership skills, and have a voice. We are looking for people with ideas, action plans, and the willingness to participate! You can see our bulletin board in the cafeteria for more info. Don’t miss out on this opportunity and join us on Monday’s from 2-2:20 in the senior pit! Hope to see you there!
Calling all future scientists! SparkLabs is starting at NAHS. SparksLab is a mentorship program where high school students will be guiding middle schoolers with science fair projects, research, and lab procedures. Electric Boat/General Dynamics is coming to NAHS! On Tuesday, December 9 during Flex block, representatives from Electric Boat/General Dynamics will be here to share information about career pathways in advanced manufacturing, engineering, and skilled trades, as well as training and apprenticeship opportunities after high school. If you are interested in hands-on careers, working with cutting-edge technology, or opportunities that do not always require a four-year degree, this is a great session to attend. Please sign up in SmartPass for the Electric Boat/General Dynamics Flex session if you would like to participate.
The 2025-2026 Gymnastics season will begin on December 1st. There will be an informational meeting on Friday, November 21st, with the coach and captain after school in the cafeteria at 2 pm.
Want a sweet treat after school? Robotics Club and Peer Leaders are hosting a bake sale through today the 21st after school in both the lobby and cafeteria. Come and choose from a huge variety of baked goods! Spread the word and enjoy!
SENIORS The AFL-CIO exam will be administered online this year. Students can register by visiting their website at www.massaflcio.org/scholarships and submitting the form. Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 19, 2025. The deadline is firm and no late registrations will be accepted. The exam will be administered on any day between Monday, February 2, 2026 and Friday, February 6, 2026. Please go to the class of 2026 Google Classroom for more information.
