creative spirit and enjoy the pleasures of spontaneous art making!
Professor Nimmer is the author of the successful book, “Art from

Spring flowers help Cancer Society
The North Attleborough Federation of Teachers has raised $2,575.00
for the American Cancer Society through the Daffodil Days drive.
This is the
largest amount ever raised by the NAFT. It reflects a $400.00
increase over last year. Many thanks to Noreen Kiff, Falls grade 4
teacher, who coordinated the
drive, Sara Hanifan, AMC, West Bridgewater, Patty Coogan,
Falls clerical paraprofessional, all NAFT building reps and Sue
Dieterle, secretary at the administration building. There was a
marked increase this year in the number of people ordering daffodils
and Bear Hugs to be sent to cancer patients rather than to
themselves.
What
a nice way to help a cancer patient.
North grad completes in Iditarod
Colleen Morrow Robertia, Class of 1994, is entered in this year's
Iditarod race in Alaska. Iditarod teams race
over the most extreme and beautiful terrain in the world, across
mountain ranges, frozen rivers, dense forests, desolate tundra and
windswept coastlines. The race starts Anchorage, in south central
Alaska, and ends in Nome on the western Bering Sea coast. Each team
of 12 to 16 dogs and their musher cover over 1150 miles in 10 to 17
days.
What makes Colleen's team of sled dogs unique is
that most of the dogs are
"runts,
rejects, retirees or rescues." Learn about Colleen and her
adventures on the web at
www.iditarod.com. or about their kennel at www.rogueskennel.com.
