MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention Juniors: A reminder that parking in the junior lot is restricted to the back half of the lot. All students drivers are reminded that they must have a parking tag clearly visible when parking. Administration will be checking the lots to ensure all student drivers are legally parked.

 

Support the music department this Sunday at the Rock n Roll 5k! Arrive before 9:30 AM and you can still register in the NAHS lobby. Out of shape? Catch your breath at all 6 of the live rock music stations throughout the course, including the stage band at the finish line including Mr. Rizzo, Mrs. Montagna, Mr. Hatzberger, and Mr. Kane. See you at the finish line!

 

In an upcoming school wide election new members of the School Committee Student Representatives will take place. Our representatives go before School Committee once a month or so as a voice to our school and also share information about our school. If you are interested in being added to the ballot please see Mrs. Kummer in the main office no later than May 21st.

 

- Attention all Seniors- Locker clean-out will begin on Tuesday, May 21st - through Friday, May 24th. Be sure to keep books and study materials available if needed for the remainder of your classes and final exams. All lockers need to be empty by the last day of finals which is Friday, May 31st or it will be thrown away!

 

- Attention all Seniors- The Tech Department will be collecting all Chromebooks and chargers on Friday, 5/24 from 10am - 2pm in the main lobby if no longer needed for classes and exams. Please be sure to have your charger along with your device in order to complete the return process. There will also be additional dates for collection during final exams on Thursday, 5/30 from 8am -2pm in the main lobby and Friday, 5/31 -Time- (to be determined), also in the main lobby.

 

Next year, we are instituting a "buddy system" to help the incoming freshmen feel welcome and accommodated when they come into the building for their first year. This is open to all current sophomores and juniors. If you would like to help out during Step Up Day, please fill out the survey that was sent to your school email.

The kindness closet is a discrete closet run by the student voice summit to help students at our school who are in need of basic necessities. We will now be accepting donations of non-perishable food, new hygiene products, new or gently used school supplies, and new or gently used clothing. Donations will be accepted in a bin labeled “KINDNESS CLOSET” in the main office for the rest of the year. If you have any questions concerning the kindness closet, please reach out to Mrs. Violette, Mrs. Kelleher, or Mrs. Antonitis in the main office.

 

The Media Center  will be closed all day today, May 17 for the Student Voice Summit.
