    Blog Entry #2 – Characterization

Welcome back!  Now that we’ve begun class discussions about literature, please analyze the main character of your summer reading novel.

      • What adjectives would you use to       describe the main character’s personality?
      • Which       elements of characterization did the author depend on the most and WHY? Appearance, Personality, Background,       Motivation, Relationships, Conflict, OR, Change? (you can discuss       more than one)
      • In your opinion, what was the most challenging obstacle the main character had to face?
      • If you could give the main character some advice, what would you say?

    • Explain why you liked (or disliked) the book.
    • What was your favorite part of the novel?
