• Chapter 2 - Summer Reading

    The prompt:   Using the summer reading selection of your choice (NOT Where the Red Fern Grows) and SPECIFIC DETAILS from the novel, provide a trait, which the main character has that either helps him/her or hurts him/her during a specific conflict. Your post must be a paragraph in length (6-8 sentences). Use evidence and examples from the book to support your answer.

    Please plan a response to this prompt of approximately 6-8 sentences.  Type your answer in a Microsoft Word document, save to your Student Folder/One Drive, and then paste your response in the online summer reading blog for your class period.  After posting, read the different blog posts from your class.  Make 2 comments on 2 different blog posts of at least 2 sentences in length!!!  Please post your response and comments by Monday, September 19th. 

    Steps to Follow:

    1. Compose a draft of your answer before signing in to Edline.  Take care to fully consider the question and your response to it. 
    2. Review your work for spelling grammar, and punctuation – Everyone in the class will be able to see your response (including your name) so you want to make sure it is your best work.  YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DELETE ONCE YOU POST!!!
    3. Go to www.naschools.net and connect to Edline (top right hand corner).
    4. Once you have logged in, find “My Edline” in the upper left corner, wave your cursor over “My Edline” and click on your English class. 
    5. Under “Contents” you should see “Summer Reading Blog.”  Click here!!!  This will lead you to the blog prompt.
