Concert Choir is a vocal ensemble in which students sing challenging repertoire and perform in concerts and competitions throughout the school year. Concert Choir meets every day as an offical course and is the foundation for the NAHS Choral Program. Vocal technique, music reading, rehearsal technique, and performance discipline are developed in depth, as members prepare for performances throughout the year. Students in Concert Choir will study a variety of choral styles and time periods in preparation for performances. This school year, the Concert Choir will perform in the MICCA Festival and Festival Disney, both in April 2008. In addition, the Concert Choir is joining ensembles from Coyle Cassidy High School in Taunton and Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth in order to perform a combined concert in March 2008. Students in Concert Choir may also choose to audition for the Junior and Senior District Festivals in November and December. It is a tremendous honor to be accepted into either of these fine festival experiences.
