ALL STUDENTS

  1. NO food or drink is permitted in the Media Center. However, 5th period students may bring their lunches with them, as they will leave from the Media Center for 2nd lunch.
  2. In case of emergency, students will proceed out main door, turn left, and take the first stairwell down and outside. All students should gather on grassy mound where the buses turn around. The Media Center staff will take attendance.

BEHAVIOR

All students are expected to work quietly and respect the rights of those around them.

COMPUTER USE

  1. Students may use computers if no class is assigned to use them.
  2. Students need to login with their user name and password.
  3. Students must save work to their student folder, NEVER to the computer hard drive.
  4. Students must never change any computer settings.
  5. Computers are for ACADEMIC work only.
  6. Students may use email only to get academic work from home (ask permission)
  7. Students need to get permission to print. Failure to get permission will result in a fine of $.10 per page printed without permission.

SLP EXPECTATIONS IN THE MEDIA CENTER

Our expectation is that students come here to use Media Center Resources and work quietly. Other reasons to use the Media Center are tutoring and joint projects. Students working together must get permission and they should be the only ones talking.

PROCEDURES

  1. Students need to get a MC/SLP pass from the Media Center staff. Passes are available before school, during break, and after school. Students may sign up for a pass for that day or the next day.
  2. Upon arrival students will sign in, deposit MC/SLP pass on the circulation desk, and get to work.
  3. Students will stay for the entire period.
