Mission Statement

North Attleboro High School is committed to the intellectual, emotional, physical and 
civic growth of its students in a safe and secure environment.  We strive to develop 
life-long learners in collaboration with students, parents and the community.  
We expect NAHS students to think, communicate and solve problems effectively.  
We maintain high standards of achievement while supporting the diversity of student 
learning styles.  Finally, we teach the skills and knowledge necessary for our students 
to become contributing members of society.

 

Student Expectations

The North Attleboro High School student will be able to:

Academics:  1.  Read effectively.
                       2.  Write effectively.
                       3.  Speak effectively.
                       4.  Identify, analyze and solve problems.
                       5.  Demonstrate effective use of technology.
                       6.  Demonstrate knowledge and skills that promote wellness.
                       7.  Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the fine or practical arts.

Social:          1.  Demonstrate appropriate behavior.
                      2.  Demonstrate tolerance and respect for others.
                      3.  Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with others to achieve a
                           desired task.
                      4.  Participate in activities that promote life-long learning.

Civic:            1.  Demonstrate knowledge of their civic rights and responsibilities
                           within the democratic process.
                      2.  Participate in school and community programs that provide experience
                           in leadership, decision-making and service.
