 ARTIST’S STATEMENT

This exhibition is a collection of pieces that I will be presenting to various schools as a part of my portfolio. They are a representation of my skills as a photographer without the use of digital enhancement.

 

My favorite piece of this exhibition is the photomontage of Mike Worthington. A photomontage is a series of pictures of an object, person or place, that when put together create one large cohesive photo. Photomontages are interesting to create because you have to piece the photographs together like a puzzle. I am most proud of this piece particularly for its ability to convey the true style of the art of photomontage.
